Postage going up Sun 1/08

The rate for postage is increasing Sunday January 8. If you can get a mailing out on Saturday it may be beneficial to you. Just thought I would share as my wife reminded me today after dropping off some mail at our post office.

U.S. Mail is still a bargain compared to other countries. Paying another 2 cents is no big deal. The biggest cost to me is an additional 75 cents / mailing on express mail which I use about 4x/month.

Yeah I heard about the increase a month or so ago. Grrrr, but I understand why.

Cost of living? My fiance's father is a postman....I aked her if he gets a raise whenever the postage rates go up. She said no. Everyone uses that as an excuse to raise prices.... Yeah, the internet is to blame, just as is the higher gasoline prices.
