  • partnership agreements

I am going to merge with another company and add another partner. So a total of three people. Each of us are bringing different things to the table, capital, equipment and business. Anyways I am looking to see if anyone an agreement that they are willing to share. I talked to my lawylor and he said I have to have a better idea of how i want the agreement set up. I am thinking something along the lines of a chart to show value of new business. Blue book for trucks, % of sales, and set depreation for the equipment and trailers. Any advise other than do not get partners would be great. Thanks.

    Was Needing One Myself

I was just thinking about getting a new agreement this year. It is my brother and I last year and we formed an LLC and our agreement was on less than a third of a page. This year we have grown 30% at least and need to go into further detail to avoid big problems in the future.
Anyone out there have a good copy of an agreement form that would work for us. You can email me or send a private message. thanks a bunch

      Hi chriscampbell,

I wish I had one to send to you. Something I would also include is if the partnership breaks up how will everything be split up so everyone can go there own way and not hate each other.

        Partner Agreement??

Yes, what happens when one partner suddenly wants to leave? What do they get? I really need an agreement for two partners. Everything I have found have been short samples of companies that don't relate to the lawn business. Anyone out there wish sharing theres? Even deleting parts that are private and confidential??? Hope someone out there can help. Send private message or email me at tomtfd27@aol.com

Having everything in writing at first you might think, we're good friends or whatever we won't get into heated discussions. Thats fine but in order to avoid them or to have to have something to fall back on if it happens is a big relief. Money can do some bad things to people. It is not that I don't trust my partner obviously I wouldn't be in business with him If I didn't but there are so many what if questions that need to be addressed so that when a problem comes up you both can refer to the wriitten agreement both of you signed.
        Thanks
