  • new phone number

Currently I use a cell phone for my company phone number(side of my truck, advertising, business cards, ect.). I am thinking of adding a 800 number to my home and was wondering if anyone could give me advise on the best, inexpensive way to recieve messages. I know I can foward the calls to my cell phone but in my area there are some dead spots that I can not pick up signals and that could cause upset customers.
    Thanks

Use two lines (cell and hard line). Have a digital answering service at your hard line so that you can periodically call in and check messages. Use the cell mainly to return messages while you are out in the field. Advertise with both, cause a lot of first time people will not leave a message, so it will be good to have a cell phone on you at all times, preferably one that has a vibrating ring so you won't miss calls while running loud machines.
