Hey crew, as some of you know, I'm 16. I have to pay taxes, but would it be required of me to pay social security? I'm not sure on this...thanx much

Fearthedeere, there is a form you can fill out to exempt yourself from workers comp. See fl division of workers comp. but im afraid youll have to cough up the social security. You can exempt yourself from wc but that doesnt mean your off the hook. You should still carry good health insurance in place of wc, and good business liability ins. Since you are only 16 youre probably covered under a family policy. This should be talked about with an insurance person, I know there are some on the forum.
