  • which business software program do you use?

Hey all, just wanted to know which business software you use to keep track of clients, schedules, etc... I downloaded the "Greenskeeper" software and liked everything about it except you can't preview reports/documents before printing. Any suggestions? I heard of a program called "Trimmer Pro" but can't seem to find a link to it or anything else about it for that matter. Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Lesco

I use quickbooks pro. And that works fine for me. I downloaded groundskeeper, but have not used it yet. I will try it out sometime this week. Have you tried the clip demo? I think they offer a free demo.

I bought Groundskeeper Pro for $350 a few months ago. I am in the process of setting all my customers up in it. Its not hard at all and doesn't take long once you play with it for a short while. There are a few downsides to it, just like you said, can't preview print screens, can't see all work done on a particular day, you can only few by customer. All in all, its pretty good. Clip is really expensive, but does a lot more. But now I'm kinda pissed. It sounds like everyone is using Quickbooks Pro and I didn't buy it b/c it wasn't tailored to this industry and I did not think it would work well. It costs the same, but sounds like it does 10 times more. I'm still a little distraught about it b/c I thought I did my research. I think the biggest savings with quickbooks is payroll and tax time. Not sure if anyone agrees with me?

Thanks for all replies, I prefer to research an industry standard before I buy software and it sounds like Quick Books Pro is the icon for any service industry. Please reply.

I don't know if that is breaking the rules here in the forum...

Does the quick books pro offer a daily print out of the work to be done that day? Im looking to really try and smooth up my daily schedule.
