    Fertilize 10,000 square feet residential lawn for $62.00
    Fertilize 10,000 square feet for $60.00 per application, residential
    Fertilize for .06 a square foot
    Apply insecticide or fungicide at $120.00 for 10,000 square feet
    Price per 1,000 square feet for fertilizer $4.75
    Grub controls priced at $7.15 for 1,000 square feet
    Fertilize 35,000 square feet for $105.00
    Price per acre for pre-emergent & fertilizer $97.00
    Price per acre for fertilizer $90.00
    Price per acre for fertilizer $150.00
    Fertilize 10,000 square feet for $60.00

      That is well and good for yall who have 10,000+ jobs under your belt, but what about those of us who are just getting our feet wet. I don't want to jump in with both feet to find that I haven't learned to swim yet. The more I read about lawn-servicing, the more I see i need to learn more...The water's deep...

      I agree that we need a quick estimation technique, but where do you start in order to prevent from 1. loosing jobs due to hi estimates, 2. loosing money due to lo estimates? How do you go about covering both ends while you learn the ropes...

        G-man, that is excellent advice.I currently only do residential,but 90% of the time i bid a job,i have done enough of them to give them a bid within minutes of walking the place.So far,almost all of my pricing has worked out well for me,have managed to keep a good profit margin.Most people probably are not encouraged by you walking their yard for half an hour trying to give them a quote.[][]
