  • how many accounts

on average how many accounts is realistic for 2 guys to do in a day, week i am trying to put some figures together any advice from you more experienced guys would be great. examples: how many a day can be done at an average residential upper class neighborhood, price per lawn. my figures are we can do 10 lawns a day @ 40.00 ea. does this sound reasonable give or take 5.00 ea. i am hoping to service 50 residential accounts a week. how hard should this be to establish and maintain. are my figures out of reach or are they an obtainable goal.

Too many factors missing. Size of yards sq ft, hills, obstacles, how much needs string trimming, driving distance, types of equipment, ect.

Best thing you can do is time yourself working, use a stop watch.

Then group jobs together... thats a good start.

Myself, ( one man opp) I can get 12-14 yards done on a good day, @ $25-30 each.
Im goanna get rich, how about you?

If your yards are close together in distnace and they are betweeen 10k and 15k sq. feet, then 50 a week would be easy for two guys. If they are double that size, then you should still be able to get them all done in one week.

Getting the accoutns depends on your geographic location. If you are in an urban area that is highly populated, then it won't be hard at all. Do this: Develop door hangers/flyers to distribute and decide exactly how many new accoutns you need (50?). Then figure that you will get a 1% return on your flyers, so deliver however many it is that you need to to get that many accounts and you should be fine.

Don't forget to put some serious thought into what goes on those flyers so you can make them attractive to people. Use something catchy on there as well to get them to call you, like say "Ask about referal incentives", or something like that that won't give the whole picture away so that they do have to call to find out about it. Once you get them on the phone, it is up to you to sell your business.

            Good Luck![8D]
