    Hellow all,

I am just starting to run the numbers to make sure that there is a valid market to do these severices in my area. Having said that the next couple of weekends I will be going through my prospected neighborhoods and polling homeowners. The goals that I want to take from this are

    1. Valadite that there are enough customers for me to make a living.
    2. Establish average priceing for the market
    3. Which areas are open to severices(Demographics, income, age, ect.)

This is what I have so far for questions

    1. Do you currently use a lawn care severice

    2. How often do you use them
How often do you cut your lawn (if NO)

    3. How much do you pay for severices (if YES)

    4. What sevrices do you expect, or what severices would you like to see

These are what I have so far I would like feedback if anyone has the results in their area I would like to know. Are there other questions that I should ask? Is there any other goals that I should expect from my research?

    Look foward to yourfeedback.

I don't know your situation, but you might better spend your time handing out flyers and just starting out part-time. Here in Edmond, I pass a mowing crew every few minutes, but I have all the work I can handle.

Good luck. I'd like to know the results of your survey and what you decide.

As a rule most people don't care for surveys. What's in it for them! I'm going to presume if there's enough people to survey, there's enough of them to do business with.
Maybe cut right to the chase and ask for their business.
