Are credit cards worth it?

How many of you guys accept credit cards? Are the fees worth it? I've been considering it, but I'm not sure how well my current customers would respond to it, considering I'm 21 and giving me their credit card info might not be something they feel good about. Any thoughts on this?

I bill about 10 of my customers through e-mail. I have a account setup with paypal that sends them invoices once a month through my compnay quickbooks. I never even worry about it. They pay with their credit card to paypal and paypal deposits the money into my account. There is no monthly charge only 1.9% on the total transaction. And I have it set up so that that 1.9% is billed to and payed by my customers. Never had a complaint from them for having to pay it either.

Sounds like an idea. Most of my customers are old, probably don't even own a computer. let alone know how to deposit money into paypal, lol. I would probably have 8-12 customers sign up for the credit card, if I started accepting them. Still thinking about it though...
