Have been given an option to purchase a small group of accts in an area I have really been wanting to break into. These are in a resort area, all high-end accts, props in the 500.000-1,000,000 range or better. There are only 6-7 accts, some are high maintenance. A lot of shrubs, bushes, areas cut up into areas that can only be cut by 21'' mowers, some can be cut by 48'' mowers. These are props where for the owners , this is their 2nd & 3rd property. For these accts, revenue would be right around 20,000 + each year. Money does not appear to be an issue with the owners, one of them is involved with ESPN, in what way, I do not know. I have seen some of the current landscapers books & pricing, looks like the pricing is good, maybe even higher than mine.
He interacts closely with the clientele & they are aware someone else may be taking over. If the deal goes thru, I also would be meeting with the owners, to go over the routine & build a good relationship with them. I would be looking at around $4,000-5,000 to purchase them without his equipment. Any input on this would be appreciated......John
