Your first season, and depends on the market and yours salesman ship and your equipment and several other things.

But My off the wall guess is around $5,000. to $10,000.

But remember that not a firm number not at all,,,it all depends.

i know it depends what im' saying is what does YOUR COMPANY bring in each year.. what was the amount of your first season and how much did grow, i want to see what potential each of you had, not what ami going to make, but what did you make each year, and how much it grew to the following years

What you make depends on your drive to succeed. You can make $30k per year, or easily go into the six figure mark. I won't say because people will simply say I am bragging. But it's not bragging, people should be proud of what they have made, and others should be happy for them.

It's what you want, and not letting anything hold you back. Sure, you can claim that your area is bad. Fine, but if you really want it, you will move, or change professions.

Once you get to a certain point, it's all business, and not as much about the scaping/mowing part. When you reach that point, most business stuff you will be doing is close to the same with ANY small business. So if your area is smaller, you either move to a better area, change professions, or be content doing what you love at a smaller income.

my company grossed a little over 65,000 the first year and has increased by sometimes 75% for the past 6 yrs. Personal income has exceeded $50,000 consistantly.

I feel like I made a whole dollar last year.

Actually last year was one of my best years for irrigation and new landscaping. According to the GC's I got, they both plan on a 50% increase of new construction.

If you apply yourself you could make 30k your first year but you'll spend alot of that on advertising and equipment. Your following year you'll put more in your pocket unless you are forced to expand.
On your second-forth year you should have a better idea of what direction you business is heading, mowing, irrigation, tree removal, landscaping, hardscaping, etc...

You'll find your niche but you have to try a little of everything though. Get some schooling in the business area, accounting, landscaping, etc... It can do nothing but help.
