Who do you use? If you are paying over or close to 2.50%, you are getting taken advantage of. I had 2 issues.
1: I was set up "retail" meaning I was supposed to be swipping cards (but of course I never was) So I talked to this guy at First National in Omaha and he told me that I was set up wrong and he could save me money. Well I did not feel like changing so I called my current company MIM processing and told them to set me up MOTO (meaning I key all my cards in manually). After 2 months of statements this guy could still save me money even being set-up correctly.
2: I was paying $25 a month for a machine I barely used.
Long strory short, I kept getting calls from this guy so I told him to look at my bill agian and see what he can do. I got a 2.09% rate and I got a machine for $5 bucks a month!!! Where I am my business slows down around this time of year and I need every dollar I can save. If interested you can call him.
