  • What software are you guys using

I have been using quickbooks for 6 years and it has worked pretty well for basic accounting. The problem with it, is it does nothing with scheduling bidding etc. with four crews going I need something that does it all. what are you guys using. I am looking at groundskeeper pro and turfgold any other sugestions. or coments on the two I am looking at.

    thanks Dan

QExpress. Hands down the best if you are already dealing in QB's because it works right along with QB's. I personally do scheduling with paper and a big dry erase board. But everyone that does it electronically and uses this says it is very very good. Some I know have switched to this and said it was better than what they were using prior.

WorkWave's business management software can help you save time & money on back-office, routing, and field operations. Get more time back for you & your team!

                Gopher vs Availsuite

We use Availsuite, but maybe Gopher is more affordable... Can anyone clear up the pros and cons of Gopher?

                    Software

Take a look at Scheduling Manager from Thoughtful Systems. The current version works with Vista. It has great scheduling features and does your accounts, customer info, payroll, and a bunch of other things. They have a neat SMS feature, which lets you send a text message for a work order to your employee's cellphone.

They have a 30 day money back guarantee and you can also download a demo at www.thoughtfulsystems.com
