more llc stuff sorry

not sure i am wording this is right! why is it important that people know that they can only sue "the company" by listing your a" llc" is a must? make sense?

I am not an llc, I am a sole propriter (sp?) they can sue me personally, that is why I have insurance.
llc helps protect you as a person and makes the llc stand on its own.
