I normally don't add any messages but you can always type in a message in the main description box.

'Kilowatt' will probably come along with exactly what you're looking for later.

I'm not too sure about invoicing since I use statements to mail most of the time. When you do the statements it includes any invoices in that time frame and you can show the invoice details on the statement.

When you use statements you can add a footer note about as long as you want. The only thing is that there isn't the drop down box like invoices so you have to type your new message when you want it changed. Hope this helps a little.

dwyman, you can have your invoices contain that footer note as well.

Delasgh, when you look at your invoice on the screen, do you have a 'memo' box and a 'customer message' box?

Obviously, the customer message box will allow you to pick from many different messages you make yourself. I'm assuming you have that one already right?

You just want another one? Or do you only see a memo box?

yea erich, i see both boxes at the bottom of the invoice. right now i have 3 messages in the message box but i want all 3 on the invoice. what do you use at the end of the month, the invoice or the statement? looks like the statement is for unpaid balances to me.

              I don't use statements.

I know that you can go to the Customize invoice screen and then to the layout designer and add boxes to your invoice. I'll have to look into that a bit more.

Some of your boxes under 'edit' may not be getting used on your current invoice. You could possibly click the checkmark next to one of them, change the title of that box and then adjust it's position on th elayout screen. Maybe one of those has a drop down menu?

              I'll have to check.

Worst case scenerio would be to type iot just once, then copy it. Then just hit Ctrl-V when you are in that box. That may be quicker anyway?

Or you could copy and paste to a Word Doc. and then each time you need it just open Doc and copy and paste it.
