I had a meeting with a YellowBook Rep this morning.. ended up getting a quarter page ad under lawn maintenance, 3-block ad under landscape contractors, and a 1-block ad under snow removal..

In addition to that, I have listings in the regular listings and a boldface whitepage listing and an Internet ad for a total of $308/ month.

Did I get off good?

I have an ad in yp also. I just got a 3" square in landscape contractors, a line in lawn maintenance that says, see our ad under landscape contractors. 150/mo. Last year I spent 95/mo. for a in column add. My company name begins with "W", so I was the last listed. It resulted in 14% of my sales and cost 50 % of my ad budget. Try to come up with a marketing plan, work your plan, analyze how it going and make necessary adjustments. Most of my sales come from referrals and networking. Good luck
