I am currently using them for two very late accounts. One for $2000, and the other for $8000. So far, so good on the $2k one, she has already called, panicking about reporting her to the credit bureaus. They send 4 letters, then report to the bureaus, plus a few other things, all for about $35, which I certainly add to their bill.

The $8k POS hasn't contacted me yet. But I have liens on both properties, so they aren't going anywhere.

Do you need the debtors SS# for them to be reported to a collection agnecy? Just curious.

I doubt that you do Mastermower. That would be fairly difficult to get from someone that owes you money.

Exactly, so without a SS# how would the collection agency be able to report the debtor to the credit bureaus???

I go the lien route too. That way even if they try to refinance, I get paid. I have 2 customers that have liens on their property compliments of me. I will use the collection agency in the upcoming future.

                  Thanks ElephantNest

A couple of mine are renters and I have been able to get their SS# from their Landlords. They understand our pain. So for some of them I will have. I just want my freakin money. I would assume that they (olddebts.com) would be able to find that info for us. They question is whether or not it is covered in the price.
