What is everybody paying for dental coverage? Who do you have and what are the percentages?
Through a program for military retires I have to pay $105 a month for 3 or more for this coverage.
I don't have any coverage right now but my son just got a cleaning and it was only $85. I would be paying $1260 a year for $425 worth of cleaning once a year or $850 for every 6mths for my family. I'd have to be counting on some major work to get my moneys worth.

Diagnostic services (such as exams) 100%
Preventive services (such as cleanings) 100%
Basic Restorative services (such as fillings) 80%
    Endodontics (such as root canals)60%
Periodontics (such as gum treatment) 60%
Oral Surgery (such as extractions) 60%
Emergency (such as treatment for minor pain)80%
    Dental Accident Coverage 100%

Additional services available after 12 months of continuous enrollment:
Cast Crowns, Onlays & Bridges 50%
    Partial/Full Dentures 50%
    Orthodontics 50%

    Deductibles & Maximums
    Annual Deductible
(per person, $150 cap per family, per benefit year)$50
Annual Maximum (per person, per benefit year) $1200
Orthodontic Maximum (per person, per lifetime) $1200
Dental Accident Maximum (per person, per benefit year) $1000

What a coincendence... I was looking at Dental insurance today. Gotta have some major work done. I got a piece of one of my front teeth broken, and some filling work to be done.

Check these guys Scott... http://www.fladental.com/ I just ordered a brochure, and may be using them... The copays look pretty decent (better than when I had Aetna), and it's $109 a year for one person/$185 yr for 2/ and $293 yr for a family.

          $50/month, the wife and I.

Through BCBS of KS. Pays 100% for two cleanings and 1 xray for each per year. I think, not sure, that they pay 50% of anything else. Not certain of the deductable amount.

One thing I'd do if I where you is to call the major medical insurance companies in FL and get rates. Inquire about a group policy under your business and you'll get better rates. You only need two individuals for a group policy to function........coarse I think I was only able to add dental b/c I have health through them???? Again, not sure.

No he don't... I already did... They all include it as part of medical and not seperate. The one I posted is the only one I've managed to find (that's what I spent most of today doing). At any rate... It's $25 a month ($293 per year) for a family with no deductibles.

Already did... Found one right down the street from me that my brother used to use before he got divorced. I asked him and he said the guy is a good dentist.

Between my wifes insurance from her work (she is a teacher working on her Doctorates) and my mom being a Dentist, I am fully covered.
