ok, i got a $40 mow that i do leaf clean-up on. the mow takes me about 32min. by myself with trimming. the first leaf cleanup takes about 3 hours. this is also on-site. i learned my lesson the hard way. this was 3 years ago. never again. it's by the hour, period. these oaks and maples don't play.

Double doesn't cut it. My experience in this neck of the woods is that people didn't want to pay what it was worth. I got tired of giving estimates only to hear, really that much? I quit doing clean ups. I 'd rather be hunting that time of year anyway.

Best way I've found is to 1. use my Redmax ebz8000 backpack blower and blow into big piles, then rake pile onto tarps to take to the curb. 2. Run my walkbehind over the grass, leaves and then put steel bagger on walkbehind and suck them up and dump onto tarp. Everyone will give you their way, just try them till you find one you like. Either way leaf season sucks so bid high and you wont get burned.
