Does anybody offer financing through a lender and if so how did you go about finding and choosing a firm?

I have offered it for smaller residential jobs. But it's through our company, not an outside firm. And it's a bit rare.
But, that's only on smaller smaller jobs. Nothing over $10k. And the rest of the work we do is almost always commercial and they will normally just pay within 30 days of the job completion
Seascape, I would talk to your current banker. Sending clients their way may make them more likely to grant those loans? But then again, I guess banks aren't giving money away like they used to.a.k.a.---> Erich

The Lawn Card
There is a lawn and garden financing program through GE Capitol (I think) The came by our business and left some applications for us to give to customers. They can use it at anyplace that takes the card,lots of mower shops and garden centers. You sign up to be a merchant with them and you can accept it.
I never used it, we just accept all credit cards.
