  • Question for larger companies:

You have multiple accounts that have various services from your company.

Example: Many customers receive mowing, fert, irrigation, weeding of the beds and trimming the shrubs on a regular basis.

Many customers get mowing, fert, irrigation and leaf removal but nothing else.

What is a good system for keeping these straight?

daily or weekly work orders, then put in a spread sheet and bill out through quickbooks when its time to bill

I guess you have a master list for you, then you give your foreman a rout sheet with their duties for the week?

Our crews are separated by services. The mowing crews don't do any weeding of the beds, ect.

yes. the mowing crews only mow so they just get a weekly sheet.

the landscape install and maintenance guys get their instruction each morning, and then fill out work report for each day with all the important info.

Then it all ends up on a master monthly spread sheet for billing.
