    I'm Looking for real Opinion's
I'm Looking for real Opinion's between Commercial and residential riders for home lawn care. What's the pro's and con's of the 2 in residenmtial lawn care.

I just got out of the army 24 april. I was Infantry and have a desire to be self-employed. I did lawns in high school and do a few in the neighborhood. Been reading all I can read sevral times aday. answered alot of questions to myself about the dedication that goes into this type of business...HOOAH!!! ( sorry army thing lol)

Anyways looking into buying a Rider and am looking for honest opinions on the 2.

Gawnagain that is one tough question. There are so many different manufacturers out there with different deck, blade, and seating configurations that no one can easily help you. All have strengths and weaknesses. Maybe start out kind of easy on yourself and minimize your expense by buying used equipment to start out with. That way you don't end up spending big bucks for something you may end up not wanting, or using all that much. You may consider a smaller, versatile piece to start with like a 52 inch walk behind. You can use it for almost anything like on hills and all, and they're considerable less money than a rider.
Another thing. Buy from a professional supplier. Guys riding around on those Murray's they bought from K-Mart have AMATEUR written all over them.
Don't be afraid to ask around guys already in the business. For the most part they were in your same shoes not that long ago and they won't think you're stupid for asking them.
Remember you need a lot more than a mower to start out with.
Good Luck! You've got the right attitude.
