Am I the only one? Doubt it ,lets be honest people I bet half the people in this forum dont have everything legit because we cant all afford it like mr hawkeye5 or any other old rich grumps out their. The question is how does a 19 year old get commercial insurance? He doesnt ! not in jersey never you could be the presisdents son and not get approved being 19 and living in jersey. Dont knock my hustle!

I would say that almost everyone here carries commercial insurance because we like to bid on commercial accounts. If you try to bid on commercial accounts you may be asked to provide a certificate of insurance. You cannot provide this to them if you don't have the insurance. I have never heard of insurance companies turning you down because of age unless you are under 18. I think you just don't want to pay for the insurance.

How are you going to pay for it when you damage your customer's property? What happens if you injure someone while you are mowing? The rest of us are probably property owners. When we damage someone's property we can be sued big time. The people who are suing us can come after our homes and other property. Why wouldn't we try to protect ourselves with insurance?

Let's face it, you're a scrub. Your posts have been ways to scam and undercut the rest of us in the industry. You want to have something for nothing.

Ok, I've been well reserved up to this point, but now I'm gonna lay it out for you ..

You're an idiot. Worse than that, you're a scrub. I AM 18 YEARS OLD. 18. I have two commercially tagged/registered & insured trucks, each with it's own trailer (also tagged/registered). I have a valid business license for the state of Tennessee. I pay taxes, some of which will probably go to support you if you can't get your act together. I have insurance. I have 1 million dollars general liability, and $35,000 to cover my equipment. This only costs me around $850 a year. My two trucks are also insured.

I came to my insurance company with my business license in hand, and HONESTY (rare word for you, I believe). They set down, listened to me, I listened to them, and they happily insured me. Maybe that's because I present myself as A PROFESSIONAL.

You lack a professional attitude. You lack professional EVERYTHING. Do us all a favor, and go get a job cooking the hamburger that I enjoy every day on my lunch break.

You have no idea how to run a business. It's sad when I see people like you; people from my own generation that haven't a clue as to how to get their act together on anything.

Ah well, *pats you on the head*. You'll grow up someday.

It will only take one time for you to find out why you need insurance.

Above are two PMs that were sent to me by our dear friend Lucky. I personally find them funny. After all, the Internet is the playground of "hardcore thugs."

GrassMaster, I don't think it's good for the board to keep such imbeciles around..

                  blindarrow,

Glad you posted those for everyone to see. Ever since Lucky came to the forum he's been trying to find ways to get something for nothing. He wants grants, doesn't want to carry insurance, etc. He has disrespected and insulted other members. Now he is threatening people on the forum. I called him a scrub as well. Wonder if I'll get a private message???

                  I'll second that!!

                          THANKS!!!

I had a clue that is what it meant, but wasn't too sure. Ya know, Maple, I bet that was just a lie too. (Notice we can basically say what we want to about him now...unless he comes back with a different name. Which wouldn't surprise me too much. But we will be able to spot him quick enough though.) Won't we Grassmaster...?

                            Hey Lucky,
Welcome to the Forum of Hard Knocks. Hey at least the posts were original and honest. I loved reading the exchanges. Most fun on here for months!
Why don't you contact your insurance company and ask how much commercial insurance would be. You don't have to give them your name or anything. Maybe it won't be as expensive as you think. Shop around a little. Try to find out what the other guys around you have. I don't think there are any state laws mandating commercial insurance but.........don't quote me on that. The question is we all hope you at least have personal injury and property damage insurance of $500,000. Without that you really could be unlucky!
