Hold on a second and let's back up a minute. I'm new to the LCO business, but not new to insurance in SC. First, are you asking about health insurance for just yourself, your family or your entire company with group rates? Are you in the LCO business working on other people's property. If so, your first concern should be a generous General Liability policy. If you have one of those, the person that sold you that policy should also represent several health care providers as well. Also, SC has some of the best Work Comp benefits for employees, but has some weird rules too. If you have employees, or so called subs that only work for you, it is in your best interest and bite the bullet on some WC coverage as well. I have met several agents in your area that can give you great advice. Start with the yellow pages. I've met guys in Greenwood, Abbeville, Clemson and Greenville. Not too far out of your area to get the right agent. Be specific when you ask the pros in this forum for advice. Most of them know their stuff, but a health insurance question is up for debate since everybody is spread out from Canada to Australia. Good Luck!
