Nahhhhh.
Matter of fact, the government will give you money BACK if you use gas in your mowers versus in your truck.
There is a form you fill out and send in with your taxes. You track how much gas (gallons) you use OFF ROAD, like mowers, skid steers, stuff like that. Because everytime you buy a gallon of gas you are paying taxes for on-road use, you will get all that tax back at the end of the year. The amount you are pre-charged at the pump varies by state, but it does add up.
I always get a check from the government giving me those taxes back.
Like I said, you just need to track the amount of gas you use 'Off Road'.
Did that make anyone's day?????

I would have to go look up what the exact name of the form is. But most accountants should know. It can be downloaded from the internet.
Start keeping track of you 'Off-Road' fuel use.a.k.a.---> Erich
