I'm looking at switching over to some type of bulk mail vs. using stamps. Anyone use the metered mail or bulk mail through usps or the stamp printers you can by at the office supply stores. I've used stamps.com before for about 2 years but you don't get a price break at all and you still have to pay a montly fee as with most postage services. I will have alot more of outbound mail this year due to changes in advertising and of course billing.

I run a bass tournament trail as another p/t biz. (I'm starting p/t lawn service this year). Each year I have my tournament brochures sent from my printer over to my bulk mailing company. I e-mail my mailing list on Excel to my bulk mailer. They label, tab & mail the brochures for me at a large savings over stamps. (And I don't ever touch the brochures). Be sure that when you print your brochures that they have the bulk mailer's bulk rate # where the postage stamp would normally go. Check around for a bulk mailing company in your area. In order to get bulk rate from USPS you have to sort all fliers by zip code, have the labels done just so, etc. (A REAL pain in the a/@#). And it still costs more that my private bulk mailer.
