i am just starting out too and i am doing my best on homework. i found out today that the basic lawn care ins. for me in va. is very basic........... no powerwashing, no snow-removal, and no hedge trimming. mowing, trimming, and blowing . you can do seeding and fertilizer,but here you got to have a license to do that too. i can go one step up and do it all except the snow-removal and powerwashing. my ins. is nationwide , but this was erie that gave me the info. no hedge trimming, that is what they said...........

$179/yr.?? wow!

The best "deal" I could get was $650/yr.

I get my liability insurance through the same agent I have my auto insurance with. They are an independent agent.

Good god!!! $179 that's unreal, I know insurance is a little higher in Ky but just for starters at 1mil with theft is right around $900. At least somebody's getting a good deal out of these insurance company's. Workers Comp. is enough to kill you though, either way. I do hate Ky Farm Bureau though have been round and round for 3 years with them before with one of there clients that hit me, but that's a hole other story....
