a customer of mine wants me to remove about 8 to 10 shrubs out of his front lawn in front of the house next to the front door. about 4 or 5 of the shrubs he wants me to transplant to the back lawn next to a fence. also around all of the shrubs in the front lawn is river rock(kind of like when people put mulch or pinestraw aorund shrubs and plants). he wants me to remove all of the river rock and dispose of it along with the shrubs i am removing for him. I can dump the river rock at my own property, but the trouble is the rock is heavy and a hassle to fool with. very labor intensive loading it up and dumping it!!! the problem is how do I price such a job at a flat fee( no hourly pay ). any help would be great!

You just need to try to figure out how long it will take you to do the job. Plain and simple. Possibly if you posted the amount of stone and the size of the plants, the landscapers here might be able to give you some estimated times??
Jeeps are like women.....much more fun with their TOPS OFF!

Let us know what kind of shrubs and what size they are. Also, find out the square footage and approximate depth of the rock beds.
