My town sends out 8200 newspapers a day. How many 8 X10 flyers should I send out in the Sunday Paper. It cost $39 dollars per 1000 newspaper. Thats me providing the flyers. I am looking to get about 30 yards.
    Thanks

3000-6000 would do it. You'll get about a 1/2 percent to 1 percent return.

Will your papaer do that for u ?? kine siad that if I wanted to only send say 1000 that I could not do that in the weekend paper I had to do all 14,000 of if I only wanted 1000 then I weould have to send those in the weekeday paper, BUT they also said that during the week I could pick the area pretty much, SO u might check into that maybe u can farm a certain area

Is that newspaper insert specific, or just for fliers in general?

In other words... given the percentages above, if I distribute 10,000 fliers, I should get between 50-100 yards from that? Or inquiries?

At least inquiries. Inquiries are just the start. Just because you pass the fliers out out doesn't mean you'll automatically get those customers. You gotta be a salseman too.

Of course... but who could complain with 50-100 inquiries??

Yep, I'm hitting up 17,000 inserts in a few weeks. Total cost is $1200 for black/white on bright yellow paper, 2x4 inch display ad, and full inserts delivered in our local paper. Of course only to the local zips as well. I'm hearing from many people .5%-3%. Sure, I'll take .5% or better, no problem.
