News paper ads.

Has anyone here had any luck with news paper ads? In my town there is a news paper everyone seems to read. It is split into 13 or 15 zones with each having its own localized edition.I was thinking about placing an ad in all of them for 6 to 8 weeks.Do you thunk it is worth the expense. It will cost about 125.00 to150. each weekfor all.

Only hit your local area. Unless of course you want to work out further away. I can put a kick azz advertisment in our paper for about $150-$180/month and it goes to about 60,000 homes I believe.

I have a billboard add in my local paper 1" wide 3" long and it list all my service's runs just over $100.00 a month, this add runs 12 months constant. That paper service's approx 25,000 residential homes. I run my add for 30 days at a time in the larger Ft. Worth paper runs just under $100.00 for three lines and my phone #, service is about 180,000. I seem to get more work out of my local paper than i do the larger, but my add is really nice in the small local paper. I only run the lrger paper add for the summer months. The paper is the best advertisement for me, ive used flyers, door hangers, and door to door sales, but the paper generates the most calls. Good Luck I got a price break from the smaller local paper also for running 12 months at a time!!!
