I recently purchased a bagger for the lawn mower over the winter and figured I'd throw it on and continue mowing everything for same price. Now I realize how much of a hastle it is with all the grass, don't know where to put it all. So I just want to see what you guys do, is mowing with a bagger standard or do you bump up the prices if they want it bagged? I think I'm going to charge $10-15 more for using it.

Depending on the style of bagger you have, you will find that it will take about 1 to 1 1/2 times as long to do a yard. That is with one person mowing and one person picking up the grass and putting it on the truck/trailer. So you must charge for your time and this will come the more yards that you estimate and clean up. Also add for trips to the landfill and any charges that the landfill applies to you.

I mulch all lawns....I don't bag unless they insist on it and then I price it at about 50% higher normally....bagging is a pain in the butt...and it removes valuable nutrients from the lawn as well.Comment

I also mulch all my lawns. My mower makes a fantastic job of it so it looks like it was bagged anyway.
