I'm sending a (for your eyes only) link to a website that I consider an outstanding business model to follow (it's one of my consulting clients outfits) that will sell well in the affluent Dallas burbs. It's no big secret but if you follow the model to a "T" ... there's a potential to do a million dollars or more in sales offering the service lineup. It will take you time but this will keep you busy growing for the entire rest of your business career. You will NOT run out of direction to follow.

        Phil

P.S. I hope your email works or the PM ... if not email me at nilsson.assoc@snet.net for that link.

Okay but you are the "last one" ...

I developed that business model and my first "test case" consulting client followed it and started with it 7 years ago. He got off to a slow start and should have hit a 500 customer count much earlier (I figured 30 new customers a month) but today his customer count is 500 customers, sales at about 1.5 million and still going strong. Now he is ready for phase "two" of my plan which will probably put him at 3 million over the next 5 years, maybe less. At 3 million in sales I believe his (local) market will be "tapped out" and growth limited to maybe only 5 to 10 new customers a month due to normal population growth patterns in the area. Phase "three" of my plan requires setting up satellite marketing locations in 50 to 100 mile radiuses of the main office to tap into 1 to 2 million in sales in each of those markets as well. The cost of running the satellites will be low since all management will be handled from the main office and satellites are mainly service locations tied to a central network.

                  Phil

P.S. ... I have received numerous emails requesting info about this and consider this my "cut off" point to responding to emails. For the amount of time I spent answering those emails ... I probably should have never mentioned this to begin with.

I don't know any other way to put this so let me explain ...

The Business Model I'm referring to is part of my C.O.M.S. package (Complete Operations Management System) ... and the startup information about the Business Model is exclusive to me, and reserved for my C.O.M.S. customers. It's not in their best interest for me to discuss the details here since some members and guests to this site may be operating businesses in the same cities as my C.O.M.S. people. We're having great success with the Model and want to keep it that way. If on the other hand I myself decided to "license" the (use) of the Business Startup Model, that would be a different scenario entirely. I've been thinking about making it available to others at some point but for now we're doing just fine limiting the opportunity to C.O.M.S. people.

                        Hope you understand my concerns.

                        Phil

Hello I am also in the Dallas area. My main job is as a Police Officer in the Dallas area. I have started mowing for part time money this year, mostly family and friends that need my service, I have yet to venture to far out of the family loop. I am looking to expand and thinking about contacting some realestate companies to see if they need my service. If possible will you send me the link you sent out to the other guy from Dallas. Any other advise would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Joe and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to say that the C.O.M.S. Business Plan, The Business Model, and The Marketing Plans are reserved for my C.O.M.S. customers only.

Joe ... Would I recommend that you buy C.O.M.S. to have the Plan?
NO, not at this time ... because if you're only part time you would not have enough time to handle the sales volume. If you were full time you could.
