  • CONTRACT "SAFETY" CLAUSES

Had A Customer Screw Me Today!! Gave Her A Proposal On Friday To Do A Job Today Which I Was Not Going To Begin Work Until Such Was Signed. But When I Got There The Woman And Her Husband Did The Work Themselves. Was Thinking About Adding A Clause Of Charging Just Say 25.00 To Cover Gas And Time If This Happened Again. What Do Ya'll Think?
    Thanks,larry

Estimates are free. Proposals cost, $45.00 an hour for however long it takes. This fee will come off of the bill if hired to do the work.

Wouldn't An Estimate And A Proposal Be One In The Same?

A proposal would include submitting drawings, and other details of the job more than just a total price and quantity of materials. An estimate is when you measure and price. Estimates are a cost of doing business. Developing proposals is not.
