I am in the process of starting a lawn art business. It is very similar to the end zone and field painting that you see on football fields. I can spray any color and it will last about a week to week in a half in the summer and all winter in dormant grass. Has anyone heard of this in your area and if so what about prices? I can also redo the color of mulch for those to tight to relay. I have about 4 or 5 colors for mulch. I am currently taking care of yards..mowing.etc and have had a lot of good comments from customers about the possibility of having their favorite teams symbol displayed in there yard. I met a couple that had weed and feeded their yard and it killed off about half of their front yard. I will be spraying for them next week. As soon as I get some before/after pics I will post. This stuff is a pigment and will not harm the grass in any way. What do you guys think?

If it makes money than it is a good thing. Also if customers are happy with it.

      Got any pics?
      what's the cost?
lasting only a week to a week and a half I probably wouldn't do it.
How long does the mulch retain color?

Well lets see. It will last for the entire winter time it will only last for a week so because of cutting of the grass. It is a concentrated gallon of pigment. One gallon will treat 7000 to 12000 depending upon shade of color desired. one gallon of green is around $50. all the clolrs sell for around 40 a gal. If doing designs it wont take much...its only when spraying the entire yard that it will use alot. I havent gotten totaly into the spraying yet. But here are pics from the guy im doing bus with!

I like it. It looks great in my opinion. I'd like to see an entire dormant lawn painted green. You could probably sell a lot of those to families with kids involved in sports. I see them all the time around here with the SUV's painted up for the big soccer match.

            This is completely awesome...

I would love more information on it if you wouldn't mind. Do you have a special machine that you use? What kind of costs are involved with getting started? That would be HUGE in my area!!!

Please either reply in the post or feel free to e-mail me @ bartlesvillecuts@hotmail.com

Any info would be very much appriciated...Thanks Joe
