bank account

i am going to open a business account with the bank my question is i live in Northwest arkansas and i am going to use arvest bank can anyone tell me what i need to take to the bank to open the account . i have already registered my name with the county is there anything else

only thing i had to have was the business license and myself and my wife.

ok well i got a certificate for the county clerks office for my DBA is that what i need

That an address and phone number. Yer set! If you are going to use a tax ID# you could take that also, maybe to have it printed on the checks.

well i dont have the tax stuff ready yet but i want to go ahead and get the account set up before the leaves start falling around here only have about a month or so till they start falling so i should be good to go with as far as setting it up

Please do not print your tax id on your checks! If your checks are stolen, you have given someone everything they need to get your money.

Your tax number is by law suppose to be posted in your office for all to see. If that’s all they needed then who ever visited your office would have ya by the gonads. Some states require it in more places than that.
