Attracting new customers

How about a few ideas on getting new customers from some of you lawn service journeymen, or anyone with a good idea. I am just getting started in the biz and need some expert advice.

i go with word of mouth...tell everyone you know and then some , i old my whole church and i got a bunch of customers now !!! woohooo word to that. !
