New Lawn & Garden Care business, need some tips!

Hey guys, my buddy and I started a lawn and garden care business just about a month ago. We have about 7 steady mowing customers and we have done a couple mulching and weeding jobs. We have passed out flyers, put up an ad on craigslist, and also just got an advertisment for the side of our truck... which reads "Turf Mates Lawn & Garden Care" (what do you guys think of the name?) with our number. Is there any other tips or tricks we can do to get more service.

There are no tricks. Tricks are for scrubs & scum. Best advice I can tell you is to perform great work and ask for your customers referrals. Growing a mowing clientele base takes time. With seven now, a partner, and first year business you'll grow frustrated. Stick with it and it'll pay off. Too many upstarts come and go each year.....it's pretty pathetic.
