Running Firefox as your web browser? I sure hope so!

Click on Tools (up at the top), then Options (last on the list), the Privacy.

Click the CLEAR button on History, Saved Information, Download Manager History, Cookies, and Cache. DON'T clear the Saved Passwords, unless you want to type them all in again.

Using Internet Exploder instead of Firefox? Better go look it up, then install Firefox. I don't offer free support for Micro$oft products.

Ok how do i get firefox? Ill have the ole lady put it on and get rid of this crap.

But,,, once i install it,,, will all the junk (cookies ,cash, ect......) go on it,,, or do i still have to clear it out in the exploder format? Can i wait for firefox,,, than clear out as you instructed?

After you get through doing the above...

Go to Start > Programs > System Tools > Then Click on Disk Clean up, Make sure every thing is checked & do what it tells you too...

Then
Go to Start > Programs > System Tools > Then click on Disk Defragmenter & Do IT!

Between what Woody & I said you should definitely go a little faster.

I do all this stuff at least once a week.

PS: Lately it appears when I clear my History it appears my puter runs faster & I've never noticed this before? Strange isn't it?

Guess ill have to call the trash people for now.

Disk Cleanup & Disk Defragmenter always speed up a computer if used daily on the Internet & you do this once a week.

Man i dont know what i got.

I did the first steps in post #5 ,, cept i had to got to acceceories first than i was able to find tools ,, clean up ect.... I checked all them boxes and hit OK,,, asked me was i sure,,,,, i said still OK ,,, than it showed a little window with a action bar for about 2.5 seconds,,, than it disappeared and nothing. No ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, "done" ,,,,,,,,,,,, "complete" ,,,,,,,,,,, "thank you" or nuthin!

So,,,,,,,,,,,,, now im left wondering,,,,,,,,,,,,,, did it work?

Do WHAT GM SAID FIRST. THAT PART IS CRITICAL. Now defragmenting before you do it, it isn't real critical, but you'll want to defragment AFTER doing it (yes, again).
