    I value your input. Thanks

    nice looking site. I would only suggest that you tone down the resolution on the pictures. i have cable modem and it took a while to download the pics because of the pic resolution...it would be really slow with dial up.....

        Nice site. Did you have someone do it, or do it yourself with a build-it-yourself program? Just because I thought visitors might be pickey, your second paragraph has a typo: "arcitecture."

          You do have a nice site... but yeah, too many pics on the home page take too long to download. Saw the typo in the word "arcitecture", also. And the third paragraph is justified right... all the other paragraphs are justified left. Don't know if you wanted the justification of your paragraphs that way, but it looks a bit odd. Other than that, everything is to the point and looks good.

            Hello BladeRunners:

            Please bare with me on this, I'm trying to offer you Help. I learned all this the Hard way & Suffered while doing so. LOL, My visitors suffered too!

            The file size of your home page is very important, this is the first thing a possible client sees when going to your web site, it's your on-line company brochure.

            It will be hard to do, but it would be nice if you could keep the total home page file size down to 40KB or close to that not over 60KB if possible. What does this mean...

            If your total home page file size is 40KB that means that anybody with a 28,800 modem is going to wait 20 seconds for that page to load & be displayed on your monitor. If it's 60KB they are going to wait 30 seconds for it to completely load.

            20 seconds is a life time on the Internet waiting on a first time visited home page to load. Trust me, there's a lot of folks out there that still have 28,800 modems or can only connect at that speed. Mine at my shop is 28,800 & it about drives me nuts.

            If I was at work it would take me several minutes just to load the first Nice pic you have with your truck in it.

            Please Remember: We live in a rushed society, everybody wants instant gratification & everybody wanted it yesterday. Nobody likes to wait on anything. A Fact!

            You can easily reduce the file size of that pic without sacrificing picture quality. In just a couple of clicks in my Paint Shop Pro program, I got it down to 39.5KB.

            Me personally, I would set the main table to percentages, probably 95% & have the picture only centered & have your text above & below the Pic. I try to build everything using tables, I first build a main Table to hold the complete page in & then I build more tables & cells to hold the content in. It makes a Big Difference.

            ================================
            Off Topic Example:
            Check out this Web Site of Mine:

            Look at some of the different pages, while doing so make your browser window Smaller & Bigger. Look at how I'm able to keep everything the same proportion as the size of the pages increase & decrease.

            Please do not ask me how many web sites I own, What all I do on the Internet (That's Pop Secret) & Yes I build Web Sites for others and I charge a Lot of Money for what I do.

            I'm also one of the Crappiest graphics designers known to man. But I know how to build fictional web sites that work & get the Message across to visitors. I also specialize in Search Engine Friendly Web Sites & do very good at search engine optimization.

            ================================
            OK, I'm back on Topic Now!
            Placing the text above & below the Main Pic on your home page is now set so people with smaller monitors & lower resolutions would not have to scroll right to view the Pic. You don't want your visiting potential clients to have to do any scrolling.

            Try to build all pages where they can be viewed at 600 pixels wide or less, with your pic at 500 pixels wide & your main table set at 95%, you do not have room for text beside the picture.

            Here's something I noticed, the Picture is actually 1178 x 842 & is 2.8MBytes.

            Ok, Some where, maybe in the Sitebuilder program you resized your pic to 560 x 400 pixels. Ok this just forces the picture to only show up at that size it doesn't reduce the actual file size of the Pic.

            If first you place that pic in a Graphics program & reduce it to 500 x 357 that alone reduces it to a file size of 522.9 KBytes ok, if you then set the Decrease colors to 32K then save it as .jpeg file, It is now 39.5KB which is a decent file size, now you have a fast loading picture that has not had to reduce the quality of the Pic for your Potential Customers to view!

            As time permits, if you have questions please ask & I will do my best to point you in the right direction. I'm sure there's several others here that would be glad to help also!

              First I would like to thank all of you for your insight.

              I have redone the first page, less pictures, and decreased the file sizes of all the pic's on the site.
              And I believe I have corrected all the spelling errors.

              Hopefully I have decreased the load time. I have DSL myself and I know how impatient I am when a web-site is too slow to load, I just click right by it!!

              Don't want that! Again thanks!!

                On your pictures page, you might consider using thumbnails that people can click on the see the full size image. I have a site I do with a lot of pictures, and this works well.

                I have a 56K dial up modem and it took forever to get your pictures loaded. If I were a customer, I porbably would have given up on them.
