  • Redmax ebz8000 Question

I am probably going to be buying the redmax ebz8000, but i would like to know if there is an additional tube attachment i could buy to extend the length of the blow tube, because the one it comes with looks a bit short. I know the pieces it comes with snap on and off, but are there additional peices i could buy seperate from the blower to extend it, even if they are not made by Redmax? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Mr. Bobbyg223, the tube is not to short, you are too tall.

You will find the length perfect unless you be over 7' in which case you could simply drop the blower lower on your back. Please do not alter the blower in any way.

A female 3" PVC pipe coupler will slip nicely over the end of the tube.

Hello, I have the RedMax EBZ8000RH and it’s a hurricane of a blower. I am 6’ 6†tall and it works just fine for me, just lower the straps on the backpack

I have the Redmax 8000 and it will move piles of leaves that you won't be able to move with the rake and it will even blow sticks. As far as the tube being to short. Thats not a problem. The Redmax 8000 can push leaves that are over 10 feet away although to move big piles you will need to be within 3 feet. Don't worry about getting an extention for the tube. Once you have the 8000 and experiance its power you won't want an extention because you'll discover you don't need it.

When you change the length of the tube you also change the RPMs at which it is running......Keep it as Redmax made it.

Extending tube length may increase pressure and load, which may or may not increase heat and decrease engine life. I would only make changes that Redmax approves.

                      ebz8000

currently I use several EB7001 models. Is the EBZ8000 that much better for the $$??? Anyone?

if anything shorten the tube dont lengthen it that will make the engine screem
