Oright guys my plan had 3 steps to it
1.advertise
2. see the houses im going to be working in
3.decide what mower to buy.

I advertised and Iv seen what houses im going to be working in, and now im trying to decide what mower to buy, Im looking for a walk behind 48", fixed deck, kawasaki engine, and I hanvent decided on what brand to buy. So what do you guys think will be the best walk behind mower for me to buy under 3k

new or used? i bought my 32 metro for around 2400 fixed deck and belt drive u wont

really find a new 48 fixed deck at that price they all go over 3,000+.

I have a 36inch exmark metro ecs that is great mows perfect ... i just wish the deck adjusted easier

If you're trying to find a 48" mower for less than $3K your best bet is to start searching ebay and the classified ads. I was lucky to find my 48" Bunton w/ 14hp Kohler Command Pro for around $1300 on ebay. Still have it and it's running perfect. For $3K you may even luck into a used 48" hydro. For the most part I'm happy with it being a belt drive. But when the grass is wet the belts slip and it turns into an extremely heavy push mower.

eBay's got a Great Dane Scamper 48HG with a 17 hp Kawi it's got
hydro drive, thats brand new. (u never know what you'll get when
u buy used on ebay!) that's a buy-it-now listing for $3175+

you can get a new toro 36"fixed deck belt drive for 26-2700.00. i got one this year and very please with it.

spend the extra money and get a hydro if at all possible, you wont be disappointed

I just bought a 36'' toro proline off ebay for $1300. It's got maybe 20 hrs. on it...I would check out e-bay for something`

Hey guys I don't know much about mowers, this my first year after all and im 17. What the differnce between a hydro and a belt drive, is it really worth paying the extra money fo a hydry. Also i was offered a 48 toro belt drive t-handle fixed deck 15hp kaw, for under 3k with tax.
