List of Commercial Brands for Walk Behinds

Can you guys list me the reputable brands for Commercial Walk Behind mowers. I want to make sure i am not missing anything so I can start doing my research. If you can, also post good and bad information about them. Here it what I have so far:

Toro
Exmark
John Deere
Scag

cmorris, how would you rate all of those brands? WHo has a cleaner cut, who has better service/support, which one is more durable, which one starts when you want it too, etc.

I can only comment on what I use, which is Exmark. I am very happy with the cut, I use the Kawasaki motors which I am also very happy with. I use belt drive mowers b/c thats what I am good at working on. They start on the first pull everytime. My Exmark dealer blows so the service/support isnot that good. Luckily for me I dont need him for anything anyways. My mowers are the 48" w/b metros. No compaints at all.

BTW if you didnt know Exmark is a division of Toro.

Please be advised that eXmark is not a division of Toro. Exmark is run as a seperate entity. Please also note that none of the pure Toro Walks are reputable.

You are correct Mr. cmorris. Please mark this day on your calendar and hold a brief remembrance yearly. Jack D.'s ire has been raised by a recent spat of the usage of Toro/eXmark instead of Toro and or eXmark. Please be advised that eXmark produces vastly different units than Toro with the exception of a few crossovers.

eXmark/toro they been in the business for more than 20 years go with the most reputable brand.

Better yet. find a dealer in your area that will support you. Manufacturers son't support you like your dealer will when it's time to get that mower or timmer fixed.
