Dixie Chopper or Grasshopper

Ok, I'm looking to buy another mower, this time it will be either a Dixie Chopper or Grasshopper. I am kind of leaning towards the Grasshopper because it has the out front deck and also you can get a diesel engine. If I buy the grasshopper it will most likely be used, with the 21hp Kubota diesel engine. How many hours would be too many? I want to make sure that I get plenty of use out of it.

Is it true that the diesel engine is more efficent running that a gasoline like kohler or kawasaki?

Yes, diesel is much more effcient.... some.... at times.... are even twice as effcient.

Have you looked at the Grasshopper mid-mounts?

More specifically the 322D/61"????
