i bought one last friday. the good ole truck broke down and i didn't get to use it till monday. it is pretty cool the way it mounts and folds up. it weighs about 50 lbs. it is very easy to take off. i used it on this one big cut and it saved me about 45 min. i use a 48 tthp. no drilling with this model. it took awhile to get my speed up but once i got the hang of it i was rolling. when i walked i was at 3 and with this i was at 5 easy. i will still need some practice.
6 is on the way. i'll probably kill myself. lol....

lol, how do you like riding the single wheel? Is it wobbly at all or seem unbalanced compared to a dual-wheel?

i used it today and it saved me 1 hour on the big cut and another hour on some smaller cuts that were maybe 3/4 of an acre each. i didn't use it on the smaller yards i had. the one wheel is no problem. this thing is built like a tank and weighs 50lbs. 5 1/2 was my top speed on the big cut. 5 is plenty though. it is so sturdy with the bar that holds it that it doesn't wobble.

ok thanks. What about the single wheel, do you think it might have the chance of rutting more in wetter conditions since body weight isn't distributed more?

i used it in wet conditions yesterday. the wheel is 11" tall and 4" wide. it looks like a racing slick.

              One Wheel Velke's

I've been using them for years now, not the exmark model, but really what is the difference. I like them because if you hang em up you don't bump your knees on em if you are walking behind em.
