thinkin' bout buyin' a dixon ?

Hey guys,gettin ready to buy a dixon ztr..could some veteran out there enlighten me as to quality,dependability,etc..

My father in law has had one for about the past 18 years, it has been one tough mower. I rode a Dixon Kodiak, I believe it was a 21/50, they were on sale for $4999. It was a quality mower, comfortable seat, Parker pumps and independent wheel motors, It had a fabricated deck with blades that are supposed to stay sharper much longer than a normal blade, cast iron spindles and everything was easily accessible for maintenance. If the dealer would have taken a trade I would be mowing with it right now.

well i have two dixion kodiaks they are great mowers tough as hell and very dependable units i have bought mulching kits for both and they do awesome they are justb as good as any other brand so as for my advice go with dixon they are the best i have used dixon for 9 years would never change to any other commercial mower and thats for sure
