After going round and round on whether to get a garden tractor or a zt I decided on a JD GT245. A little more then I wanted to spend, but I got a good deal. $5179 no shipping no tax. I am excited to get to using it. I will post a follow up in a month or so to let everyone know how I like it. JD has a 30 day trial period. I hope I don't have to use it.

dude i have the gt 262 and when im ready to buy me a new mower its going to be a ztr you shouldve bought the ztr those are commercial mower not the gt 245 not bahing you here just letting you know what is better to use. for 2 grand more you can get the lower commercial end mower for around 7000+ If i where you i would turn it in before you even start it.Comment

Take it back!!!!!! I just bought the Cub Cadet Com. Tank. Love it, doing 22 lawns a week and it's doing a great job. Your only looking at about$1000.00 more. I rec. the 48" deck if your doing a lot of res. homes. Good luck.... take it back today!!

This for my home 4ac. I also need it to do snow removal and other things around the house. The zt just did not fit what I needed it to do. Though I would have gotten one if it did. I test rode a couple and man they turn fast.Comment
