  • Walk Behind or not

    Greetings all,

I need a good gate mower and am confused as to get a WB or a 36 rider.

    A 36 WB costs 2000 while I can get a 36 snapper rider for around 1200.

I have a 61 grasshopper and 54 cadet that I use everywhere else.

What are the pros and cons of single blade rider and WB?

    Thanks,
    Bobby

    Quick36 seems a good value.

What are you looking at for $2000. Is it used?

It's an off brand not sure of the name.

I have found one used for 500 that looks and runs great except the reverse does not work.

Is a walk behind that much faster or easier than a rear engine 36in snapper??

Quick 36 single hydro, they have 2 models under $2000. They're a sponsor of this site and have a banner at the top of this page.

Gravely sells there 36" Belt Drive mower with a 13hp Kawaski for 2300$. This is a dual blade unit don't by a single blade homeowner rider they only mow in circles and will kill your time.
