how big is your trailer? What is the weight capacity for it? Yes you can haul mulch on your trailer, it is done all over in my area.

By all means, yes use your trailer.

The drop gate is a big time saver compared to shoveling it out of the truck bed. Roll up into the trailer, shovel/pitch fork it in the wheel barrow and scoot down and out via the ramp...fast.

We use a dump trailer on big jobs (over 5 yds) and dump close to the bed areas, but other than that I set up a 12' trl with pressure treated planks to raise the sides up about 28". That trl leaves the shop with 5-6 yds and I will supply them via a 12' 12000lb Bri-MAr dump.

We have put in 150 yrds this year, using that setup with no problems.

not sure what size you're trailer is, but mine is 6.5x12 w/ 2ft sides w/ wooden floors. i can haul 7 yds on mine.. it's a load, but i've done it several times.

it all depends on what you have going on.. if you have some mowing to do that day, you might want the supply to deliever it so you can have your trailer with all your gear on it.

I used my trailer. I charged $50.00 for delivering 6 cubic yards. That's what the mulch company was gonna charge and I had control over when it got delivered. My trailer is a single axle and had no trouble carrying this load.

            Good Luck.

what kind of mulch are you guys using and what are you paying per yard???? delivery doesnt cost anything around here as long as it is over 3 yrds.
