Wondering what to charge per yard, what kind of mulch to use, and what to pay per yard... right now I charge anywhere from $60-$100 per yard depending on clean up, edging, etc... I pay about $27-$33 per yard. Are these figures right???

Your charges are in line...your costs are out of wack.
Double shredded hardwood in this area is $10.20 a yard.
I'd check around and find out if the place your garden center or nursery is getting it from is close enough for you to use. -

To me thats low. Depends on the flower bed size or whatever you will be mulching. That will determine how much material you need to complete the job. Big Mulch job = more materials = more labor and you want to get paid for your time right?. Those figures might be good for little Townhouse jobs, but Single Family homes you need to atleast about the price..Comment
