  • Which W/B Best Bang For Buck?

I'm going to be needing a BIGGER mower my little 21" HRC isnt cuttin it. I'm going to bid on a Car Dealership tonight that should require me to use at least a 36" W/B. I also have about three accounts that are big enough to warant bringing a W/B to cut. I've done some research into some of the dealers that are located in my area. They are... Gravley, Exmark, Toro, Ferris and Scag. I will be bagging all my lawns.

My partner is 6' 6" and 240 lbs. I dont think that a 36 will pull him on a sled so which machine pulls a sled the best is not an issue.

I dont really want to get any bigger than 45".

Also this is only my first year and I'd like to be as cost effiecent as possible. Also I'm will be financing this mower so cost will play a big part in my decision.

With these things in mind which size and brand do you all recomend?

I am looking into buying a Quick36 for some gated areas that I cut. It just takes too long with the 21" Toro. I looke like the best bang for the buck and from what I have been seeing from people that used them they work great. You might want to look at them.

I cant find a dealer in my area... also will a quick bag grass well? Washington is pretty wet and sometimes the grass will take off making it impossible to mulch...

There is no dealer in your area, they're sold factory direct.

At the top of the page, click onto the Quick 36 banner and order direct. I don't have one, but it has rave reviews around here from those who do own it.

I recommend Scag. After being an ardent Exmark fan for many years, I'm switching to Scag. In my humble opinion, they make a better machine using better spindle construction.

Going hydro is the best money you can spend in our wet climate. The belt driven are cheaper, but not a good bet in Western Washington.
